2010 Grand Canyon National Park 5 oz Silver Bullion Coin
Issued as the fourth coin in the series, the 2010 Grand Canyon National Park 5 oz Silver Bullion Coin will be released by the US Mint as a companion to the circulating America the Beautiful Quarters™ Program.

The reverse (tails side) of both the quarters and the silver bullion coin will feature an identical design emblematic of the Grand Canyon Park. The coins are both issued as part of two series honoring select locations found throughout the United States and its territories.
The locations are all of national interest and include sites such as national parks, national forests and national monuments.

The five America the Beautiful Silver Bullion™ Coins scheduled to be released in 2010 are:

The locations featured are found in Arkansas, Wyoming, California, Arizona and Oregon, respectively.
Issue Information
The silver bullion coins will not be available directly from the Mint but released through the Mint’s network of authorized purchasers.

Late December 2010 to the authorized purchasers.

Based on the intrinsic value of each coin.

Philadelphia, although no mintmark is present on bullion strikes.
Designer & Sculptor
John Flanagan’s portrait of George Washington, first President of the United States, will be found on the obverse (heads side) of the silver bullion coin.
Phebe Hemphill designed and sculpted the reverse (tails side) of the Yellowstone coins. It features a view of the granaries above the Nankoweap Delta in the Grand Canyon.
