These coins are similar to the US Mint’s Grand Canyon National Park America the Beautiful Silver Bullion Coins™. Both series are struck from five ounces of .999 fine silver, but the bullion coins are struck for investors whereas these uncirculated coins are struck for collectors.

Both series also feature the same basic designs as found on a third series of coins from the US Mint – the America the Beautiful Quarters® Program. As such, the obverse shows a portrait of George Washington while the reverse contains the emblematic design of the honored site – in this case Grand Canyon National Park of Arizona.

2010 America the Beautiful Silver Uncirculated Coins

  • 2010 Yosemite National Park 5 oz Silver Bullion Uncirculated Coin
  • 2010 Grand Canyon National Park 5 oz Silver Bullion Uncirculated Coin
  • 2010 Mount Hood National Forest 5 oz Silver Bullion Uncirculated Coin

These five coins were struck in 2010 with a 2010 date, but were not issued during that year. Instead, the Mint has a release date of early 2011 for the coins owing to initial production difficulties with them and the associated bullion coins.
