Those eighty quarters will all be struck to circulation quality and ship in two separate rolls. One of those rolls (containing forty quarters) will be strikes from the US Mint facility in Philadelphia and one roll (also containing forty quarters) will contain strikes from the US Mint facility in Denver.

These coins represent the last of five quarter dollars issued in 2010 as part of the America the Beautiful Program.

Designer & Sculptor / Engraver

John Flanagan’s portrait of the first President of the United States, George Washington, has been featured on the obverse (heads side) of the quarter dollar since 1932. A version of that same portrait will be seen on the Mount Hood Quarter as well as all of the other America the Beautiful Quarter Dollars.

The reverse (tails side) was designed and sculpted by Phebe Hemphill to show Mount Hood in the background with Lost Lake seen in front of it.
