2011 Glacier National Park Quarter Two-Roll Set
The 2011 Glacier National Park Quarter Two-Roll Set includes a total of eighty coins honoring the national park and represent the seventh strike of the America the Beautiful Quarters™ Program.

The coins will feature reverse designs emblematic of Glacier National Park on their reverse. This national park came under federal control in 1897 when it was designated a national forest preserve. It attained the status of National Park in 1910.
The 80 coins in the set will be divided into two rolls, with one roll containing 40 circulation quality strikes from the US Mint’s facility in Denver and one roll containing 40 circulation quality strikes from the Mint’s facility in Philadelphia. Each roll is wrapped in special Mint wrapping indicating the rolls face value of $10, the specific strike contained within (Glacier National Park) and the mint of origin (‘P’ for Philadelphia and ‘D’ for Denver).
2011 America the Beautiful Quarters
A total of five America the Beautiful Quarters are scheduled to be released in 2011 with the Mint likely to issue these accompanying two-roll sets. The 2011 strikes due to be released are shown below in their correct order:
- 2011 Gettysburg National Military Park Quarter representing Pennsylvania
- 2011 Glacier National Park Quarter representing Montana
- 2011 Olympic National Park Quarter representing Washington
- 2011 Vicksburg National Military Park Quarter representing Mississippi
- 2011 Chickasaw National Recreation Area Quarter representing Oklahoma
Along with the two-roll sets, the Mint will also probably release 100-coin bags of the Glacier National Park Quarter containing circulation quality strikes of the issue from either the Denver Mint or the Philadelphia Mint (buyers choice).
Issue Information
Each roll of the set will be wrapped in special Mint wrapping indicating the rolls contents of Glacier National Park Quarters, the rolls face value of $10 and the mint of origin (‘P’ for Philadelphia and ‘D’ for Denver).
Release Date
A release date of April 4, 2011 is indicated by the US Mint.

Similar releases earlier in the year sold for $35.95.
U.S. Mint Production Facility
One roll contains forty circulation quality quarters struck at the US Mint’s facility in Denver and one roll contains forty circulation quality quarters struck at the US Mint’s facility in Philadelphia.
Designer & Sculptor / Engraver
The obverse (heads side) of all of the America the Beautiful Quarters will feature a portrait of George Washington, the first President of the United States. The design is based on John Flanagan’s original work which was featured on the 1932 quarter (the first year in which Washington was found on a quarter).
Glacier National Park’s Mount Reynolds is shown off in the distance with a mountain goat shown up closer on the reverse which was designed by Barbara Fox and sculpted by Charles Vickers.
