2011 Olympic National Park Quarter Two-Roll Set
The 2011 Olympic National Park Quarter Two-Roll Set will include circulation quality strikes of the eighth coin in the America the Beautiful Quarters™ Program.

A total of 80 of the coins will be included in the set with one roll containing 40 strikes from the US Mint’s facility in Philadelphia and one roll containing 40 strikes from the US Mint’s facility in Denver. Each roll will be wrapped in special Mint wrapping which indicates the rolls contents of Olympic National Park Quarters, the rolls face value of $10 and the mint responsible for striking the coins contained within (‘P’ for Philadelphia and ‘D’ for Denver).
The reverse design of each strike will feature an image emblematic of Olympic National Park which is located in the state of Washington. The area was originally created as a National Monument by Theodore Roosevelt in 1909 and attained the National Park status in 1938.
2011 America the Beautiful Quarters
Five different America the Beautiful Quarters are scheduled to be released annually. Those scheduled for 2011 include:
- 2011 Gettysburg National Military Park Quarter representing Pennsylvania
- 2011 Glacier National Park Quarter representing Montana
- 2011 Olympic National Park Quarter representing Washington
- 2011 Vicksburg National Military Park Quarter representing Mississippi
- 2011 Chickasaw National Recreation Area Quarter representing Oklahoma
The Mint may also release 100-coin bags of these quarters along with the two-roll sets. The 100-coin bags include the buyers choice of 100 circulation quality strikes from either the Mint’s facility in Denver or the Mint’s facility in Philadelphia.
Issue Information
Each roll of the set will be wrapped in special Mint wrapping indicating the rolls contents of Olympic National Park Quarters, the rolls face value of $10 and the mint of origin (‘P’ for Philadelphia and ‘D’ for Denver).
Release Date
A release date of June 13, 2011 has been set by the US Mint.
Issue Price
Previous releases earlier in the year sold for $35.95.
U.S. Mint Production Facility
One roll contains forty circulation quality quarters struck at the US Mint’s facility in Denver and one roll contains forty circulation quality quarters struck at the US Mint’s facility in Philadelphia.
Designer & Sculptor / Engraver
John Flanagan’s portrait of the first President of the United States George Washington was used as the basis for the design featured on the obverse (heads side) of the quarter dollars.
The reverse shows Susan Gamble’s image of a Roosevelt Elk standing in the Hoh River with Mount Olympus off in the distance. It was sculpted by Michael Gaudioso.
