These massive five ounce, three inch coins will feature a reverse design honoring the national park which is located in Alaska. Denali was originally established in 1917 as Mount McKinley National Park to help preserve the natural scenery and resources of the area.

Each coin will be minted from .999 fine silver and feature design elements on their reverse and obverse that are identical to those found on the circulating America the Beautiful Quarters® Program, also from the US Mint. The only difference aside from their content and size will be the edge. The quarter dollars will have a reeded edge while the bullion coins will feature an edge inscription showing each strike’s weight and purity.
