Denali is a very large national park located in the state of Alaska that was originally created as Mount McKinley National Park on February 26, 1917. Consisting of almost 9,500 square miles, Denali is named after the tallest mountain found within its boundaries. In fact, Denali is the tallest mountain in North America and even has a taller rise than Mount Everest. However, as Everest sits atop a plateau, its top elevation is much higher.

Each roll is wrapped in special mint wrapping. On the face of the wrapping, the Mint indicates the contents of Denali Quarters that will be found inside. Also shown on the wrapping is the face value of the roll ($10) and the Mint facility which produced them. One roll in the set contains forty circulation quality quarters struck at the US Mint’s facility in Denver and one roll contains quarters struck at the US Mint’s facility in Philadelphia.
