In fact, Grover’s two non-consecutive terms as US President means that Frances Cleveland is actually featured on two different strikes of the First Spouse Gold Coin Program. One honoring her during the first term was released as the second of four 2012-dated strikes in the series with this one honoring her second term released as the final of those four.
All coins of the series are struck from one-half ounce of .9999 fine gold. The reverse of the coin’s feature designs emblematic of the life of the honored spouse.
