Consisting of 76,000 acres, Arches National Park in Utah was originally established as a national monument on April 12, 1929. The federal government redesignated it a national park in 1971. Within the park’s boundaries, are over 2,000 natural sandstone arches from which the park takes its name. Many should recognize the name of some of the more famous arches like Delicate Arch, Double Arch and Landscape Arch.

The US Mint places 100 circulation quality quarters in each bag. Sewn into the closing stitches of the bag is a label indicating the specific contents of Arches National Park Quarters as well as the US Mint facility responsible for striking them. Buyers will have the choice of coins struck at the US Mint’s facility in Denver or Philadelphia.
