2015 Saratoga National Historical Park 5 oz Silver Bullion Coin
Released as the final of five strikes in 2015 as part of the US Mint’s America the Beautiful Silver Bullion Coin® Program will be the 2015 Saratoga National Historical Park 5 oz Silver Bullion Coin.

Located in the state of New York, the Saratoga National Historical Park preserves the location of the famous Saratoga Battle of the American Revolutionary War. The site marks the first major victory for American forces against the British and helped to pave the way for foreign acknowledgement and support for the fledgling United States of America.
Each Saratoga Silver Bullion Coin will be struck from five ounces of .999 fine silver to a diameter of three inches. The coins are the largest bullion piece available from the United States Mint.
2015 America the Beautiful Silver Bullion Coins
A total of five coins from the America the Beautiful Silver Bullion Program will be issued by the US Mint in 2015:
- 2015 Homestead National Monument of America 5 oz Silver Bullion Coin representing Nebraska
- 2015 Kisatchie National Forest 5 oz Silver Bullion Coin representing Louisiana
- 2015 Blue Ridge Parkway 5 oz Silver Bullion Coin representing North Carolina
- 2015 Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge 5 oz Silver Bullion Coin representing Delaware
- 2015 Saratoga National Historical Park 5 oz Silver Bullion Coin representing New York
These five coins represent the twenty-sixth through thirtieth strikes of the program which debuted in 2010.
Issue Information
The America the Beautiful Silver Bullion Coin Program will have a total of fifty-six strikes by the time it is completed in 2021.
Release Date
A release date for the Saratoga Silver Bullion Coin has not yet been announced by the Mint.
Issue Price
The Mint does not sell its bullion products directly to the public. Instead it uses a network of authorized purchasers which resell the strikes to the public for a small premium above the current spot price of the silver contained within them.
U.S. Mint Production Facility
The US Mint’s facility in Philadelphia is the only one which received the specialized equipment for striking the America the Beautiful Silver Bullion Coins. However, a mintmark is not typically present on bullion coins.
Designer & Sculptor
John Flanagan’s portrait of the first President of the United States, George Washington, will be featured on the obverse (heads side) of all of the America the Beautiful Coins.
An image of a portion of the Saratoga National Historical Park will be featured on the reverse (tails side) of the coin.
