Each coin in the bag contains a reverse design honoring Harpers Ferry National Historical Park which is located in the state of West Virginia. The national park location was established on June 30, 1944, but played an important role in American history long before that. For centuries, the site (found at the confluence of the Potomac and Shenandoah Rivers) was used by Native Americans. Its strategic location was realized by European settlers and a man named Robert Harper established a ferry business there in 1751.

Each bag will include 100 circulation quality strikes from either the US Mint’s facility in Denver or the US Mint’s facility in Philadelphia – buyers choice.
