The park, located in Indiana, commemorates George Rogers Clark and his fellow men who were sent by the colony of Virginia to protect the interests of the colony in the Northwest Territory during the America Revolutionary War. Fighting hardships all along the way, Clark and company successfully defeated British troops at several engagements helping to insure the infant nation of the United States of America would survive.

Each George Rogers Clark Silver Bullion Coin will be struck to a massive diameter of three inches from five ounces of .999 silver making them (along with all of the other America the Beautiful Silver Bullion Coins) the largest bullion products of the US Mint.
