Located on the island of Guam in the Pacific Ocean, the War in the Pacific National Historical Park was established on August 18, 1978. The park is actually split into several different locations throughout the island. Making it even more unique is the fact that it honors all those who participated and sacrificed in the Pacific Theater of World War II including Americans, Japanese, Australians and the British.

These strikes represent the forty-eight release of the America the Beautiful Quarters Program.
