2020 National Park of American Samoa Quarter Rolls

The 2020 National Park of American Samoa Quarter Rolls will be the first of five roll sets to be issued in 2020 by the US Mint as part of its America the Beautiful Quarters™ Program.

Strikes in each roll have reverse designs emblematic of the National Park of American Samoa. The park itself was established on October 31, 1988 and consists of 10,500 acres spread out on three different islands of American Samoa. Two things make this park unique in the park system. First, it is the only one south of the equator. Second, the land of the park is not actually owned by the federal government, but instead is under a long-term lease.

Buyer’s will receive two rolls in this set. One will contain 40 circulation quality quarters from the US Mint’s facility in Denver and one roll contain 40 circulation quality quarters from the US Mint’s facility in Philadelphia.

2020 America the Beautiful Quarters

Five America the Beautiful Quarters will be issued by the US Mint in 2020:

  • 2020 National Park of American Samoa Quarter representing American Samoa
  • 2020 Weir Farm National Historic Site Quarter representing Connecticut
  • 2020 Salt River Bay National Historical Park and Ecological Preserve Quarter representing the U.S. Virgin Islands
  • 2020 Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park Quarter representing Vermont
  • 2020 Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve Quarter representing Kansas

The America the Beautiful Quarters Program will be in its fifty-first release with the issue of the National Park of American Samoa Quarter.

Issue Information

Rolls will be wrapped in special Mint wrapping indicating the $10 face value of the roll, the specific quarters contained with (National Park of American Samoa) and the initial of the minting facility responsible for striking them (P for Philadelphia or D for Denver).

Buyers will receive one roll containing strikes from the US Mint’s facility in Denver and one roll containing strikes from the US Mint’s facility in Philadelphia.

Designer & Sculptor / Engraver

Each America the Beautiful Coin contains a portrait of George Washington on their obverse (heads side). The image of the first President of the United States was designed by John Flanagan.

The reverse (tails side) of the quarter will showcase a portion of the National Park of American Samoa.
