Each strike in the rolls contains a reverse design showcasing a portion of the Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve which is located in the state of Kansas. The preserve was established on November 12, 1996 and protects 10,894 acres of the tallgrass prairie ecosystem. Tallgrasses were once so prominent in North America that they covered over 400,000 square miles. Today, owing to most of those grasses being plowed under to create farmland, less than 4% of that total remains.

Buyer’s will receive two rolls of the circulation quality Tallgrass Prairie Quarters. Each will be wrapped in special Mint wrapping.
